Okay, I see your point but consider this: when advertising a car for sale, I try to establish a comfort level with the prospective buyer BEFORE I give them my address or any other specific information about me. Most people are pretty reasonable but you occasionally get some fruits and nuts mixed in. I've had people get hostile with me, make unreasonable demands or otherwise act wacky. I will end the conversation politely if possible, but I will not invite them to look at the car. I don't want to give those types a means to come find me, or the car, if I piss them off.
