I recall MOST "new trucks from the early to mid 90's all had tons of "custom" stuff done to em... the 2 tone paint fade, fender flair/step side skirts, wheels etc... where those mods done pre sale?... was it sort of like conversion vans where a 3rd party company bought em and modified stuff and then sold em?
There was a conversion place here that did them for the dealers.

If as described, I would say $3,500 to $4,000 fairly easy. If it was a short bed, closer to $4,500+.

I paid $2k + $600 for shipping. It had 66,000 miles on it, now has 75k.

I like it.

That's a crazy deal. Some peoples opinions of GM truck products from the 90's is... odd... compared to the other offerings available at the time, it was pretty par for the course.

Besides being rusty as all get out, my '93 ext. cab GMC k1500 is the best truck I could get for the money. I just want someone to tell me a ford 5.0L or 5.8L of the same era gets better mpg, or that the dodge 318/360 made any form of power lol.

Okay, I will.

The fords of the same era get better mpg; and the dodges made power.

Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.

I've driven both 5.0L and 5.8L Fords from that era for months at a time, and they got horrendous mpg in the city (like, 8-9 usmpg).

The dodges were so ludicrously slow it was... ludicrous. AND got mediocre mpg. I'm not saying the gm is any better, but it definitely isn't any worse, and I would argue much more well rounded.

That's what I said. It didn't seem feasible, but on a 5.8L regular cab long box, with the AOD in it, yes. And it was slow :( I had to drive it for over a year, thank the lord baby jesus I wasn't paying for fuel!

I have never seen a '90s Ford get that bad a gas mileage. I guess I will find out when I pick mine up.
