what's with all the "I'm Drunk in..." threads?

As a Buddhist, I do not drink anyway, so I do not understand the "pleasure" in pouring noxious tasting liquids down your throat do make you stupid.. but is it really something that needs to be shouted out from the mountaintops from?

Since you don't drink you may not realize this, but alcohol makes you do dumb things. No, it doesn't need to be "shouted out from the mountain tops", but drunk people post pointless things. It's just a fact of life. Welcome to the internet.

I was not bragging.. I was stating a fact. And I was trying to figure out why there were -so- many of these threads all the sudden.

I could see it on a holiday..

Drinking fine wine at a high end restaurant works for me

Or just drinking a few beers with mates around a bonfire

I drink alone.

With nobody else.

Better than surfing craigslist while drunk.
