These types of threads are stupid and juvenile, and degrade the quality of this site. If I was a potential advertiser, I wouldn't be too impressed with GRM looking at the current thread titles.

I was throwing some support toward mad_machine, since everyone else seemed to be wanting to jump on him for doing the right thing.

I understood fully it would mean some people would also jump on me.

my personal opinion is that mad_machine would have been fine …

no one would have questioned him or his motives if he had only asked the question ….

Some folks seem to have a really hard time understanding we are guests in Margie's living room.

Being guests does not give us the right to E36 M3 on the carpet.

Regarding Margie, I guess we can wait and see. I would never be foolish enough to try to speak for her. I would, however, show her as much respect as I could, which is a much higher standard than E36 M3ting on her carpet.
