Bought a set of C4 rims for my C3 vette. Dirt cheap w/ only slight blemishes. I mean DIRT cheap--$30...four all four! The rims are way positive offset. The C3 has 15x7s with 4 inch backspacing and about -11 offset. Would 2.5 inch adapters be the trick? The new rims are 17x8.5 and 17x9.5. Haven't measured backspacing or offset. Think C4 offset on most rims are about +50 or so. They are from a 92 or 93 IIRC.

Want to run 275 40 17 on rear and 255 45 or 40 17 on front.

Am I crazy?

go to corvetteforum.com and search the c3 section, it's been done before many times.

goto a machine shop, most will make you spacers for cheap, considering they are not busy.
