Incredible video of an RC airplane competition.

It looked as if the entire wing was a moveable control surface, ie no trailing edge ailerons. And I have no idea how he made the thing stand on its nose then go up while still pointing straight down.

Almost no mass, allowing a thrust:weight ratio of >1:1. Combine that with a reversible pitch prop.
And a ton of practice and skill. That is some crazy roll rate.
I watched some champion RC helicopter flyer while he was berkeleying around with some Kyosho electric helicopter once. I thought those things could just hover and move around. He was doing this thing where it went straight up, did a half loop, and then stopped instantly; upside-down an inch off the grass, and then he went back again. Back and forth like this in a big semi-circle--just to get a feel for the helicopter. He could make it hover, then in a flash, it was climbing at 1000 feet per minute.
You want nutzo, look at this dood. Dragonflys never had it so good.

That was really cool, but the only music that airplane acrobatics should be synchronised to is "Rock You Like A Hurricane".

I saw an RC helicopter that moved like it was attached to an invisible stick. I've never seen anything just stop like it did.
Yeahm, that things weighs nothing, and it's electric, so I'm sure he can just run the motor backwards with a fixed prop.
That takes a lot of practice, but I've seen guys do remarkably similar stuff with 1/4- and 1/3-scale Extras and Lasers. Now that's impressive...

That's been around for a while, and it didn't take long for people to determine that it's 100% fake (especially since it actually does defy the laws of physics).
That one-wing thing was actually viral marketing for some European product. I know what you're talking about without even going to see it...
