Wow you mean shooting a tiny drone out of the air with .30 caliber and smaller rounds is hard. Maybe if they had exploding projectiles like mini ww2 flak it would be easier.
It's easy with a shotgun w/ bird shot, some hunters shot down some PETA nut's quadcopter like that a couple years ago.

Sadly most drones don't fly that low. Wasn't there a drone shot down with a bolt rifle in the last Bourne movie? Would be a damn hard shot that is for sure. Not to mention there is that whole shooting into the air thing.

When trying to be shot down, sure. But when you want to see if the fugitive is in that 16th floor hotel room, its hard to look in with a camera attached to anything but a copter.

Not on military drones, but non-military drones are usually just high-end RCs with hilariously jacked-up prices.
