Short notice but I can't see any reason why the Metro Detroiters, Mid Michiganders and the NE Ohioans can't meet up 05/21/11 around 5pm for the rapture...

Dude, I would so love a road trip to SE Michigan, but even though it's only about a 4.5 hour drive; I do have to be at work at 6.
I'll be in heaven too, if it happens. I am pretty sure it won't though, as the Bible pretty much says that nobody will know when it is before it happens... I guess those guys ignored that part of it.
Us Pastafarians aren't worrying about anything but what type of meat to go with out spaghetti on the noodle sabbath.

Isn't that a bit presumptuous? Who made you the judge?
I live in Hell. I can take you guys on a cruise through some sweet countryside if the world doesn't end :P
So it's not the fact that he believes in the rapture that makes him crazy, it's because he knows when it will be? Interesting...

Nobody did, clearly, but according to the Bible, there are several instances where it clearly says that basically if you believe Jesus is your savior, then you're saved. I didn't mean for this to get overly religious (sounds weird, but I mean it), but John 3:16 covers it neatly and poetically. John was a cool guy.

Well, according to my beliefs, yes. You don't have to share them, though.

The only reason I am responding to this is because I just now noticed that we both live in Greenville.

The only reason I responded to this post is because I believe it to be true.
I don't understand why some parts of the bible need to be taken literally and others just need to be interprited to fit with personal beliefs. Camping took them very literally and just crunched some numbers.

Then you might just understand why this quote is funny.

Not really.

I have fished in "the River Styx", the crick that runs through Hell
Haha... don't forget to stop in Screamz Ice Cream Shop and pick up some sweet Hell merchandise for the kids.
Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. It doesn't sound like a good place to be:
Luke 13:28
Oh, and for the guy predicting the Rapture for tomorrow, he needs to read this:
Matthew 24:36

Engineers are usually "weird" Christians. What are your thoughts on Preterism?
