My Accord V6 is the first car I've had with an auto (I refuse to claim the Monte Carlo), only because it was not available with a manual.

The only thing I will ever have an auto in is a tow vehicle, as I firmly believe that modern day auto's with 6+ speeds and tow/haul modes that allow you to keep both hands on the wheel and your foot ready for braking is important. AND, the auto's hold more torque plus allow quicker smoother acceleration.

Never really had any trouble with that.
You might improve your lap times a little if you practice

Actually, I'd suggest you rethink your strategy. Left foot brake, right foot gas, move left foot when needed.
