Touch screens are pretty awesome. I really like my Nexus 7. That said, some things are just easier with a keyboard and mouse. I like the idea of the convertible laptops/tablets I'm seeing ads for. I also like that you can revert windows 8 to a "classic" windows presentation pretty easily. Seems the best of both worlds. Touchscreen and Win8 while you're goofing off. If you need to do serious work go back to the keyboard and mouse with Win8 classic presentation.

What's not to like? Progress is going to happen. I heard the same complaints about injection when it first came out. I think things will be just fine.

The car, however, ran the same depending on if you had a carb or injectors. Push on gas pedal and go was all people needed to know. What we're talking about here isn't just an upgrade to fuel injectors, it's moving the pedals around, throwing in an pushbutton transmission, and neural controls for steering all at once. You're changing the functionality of how Windows works, not merely going from 32bit to 64bit.

It's more like getting rid of the pedals and steering wheel all together and mounting a joystick where the shifter would normally be placed.
