That was the only part that got me, I enjoyed it none the less.

Sabertooth is physically stronger than Wolverine yes, he is also physically MUCH larger than Wolverine in the comics with much more muscle mass and a heavier bone structure. The "primal instinct" is roughly the same however Sabertooth is much more aggressive than Wolverine. While Wolverine is able to keep his aggression in check most of the time, he has been known to lose it (mostly when fighting Sabertooth) and reaches levels that match Sabertooth. Also from what I remember is the healing factor in Wolverine is faster than the one that Sabertooth has.

You are right about Wolverine winning battles by using his head when fighting Sabertooth. As I mentioned before Sabertooth tends to go completely wild when fighting Wolverine and acts only with his "primal instincts" where as Wolverine while still aggressive is able to suppress the aggression and able to reason.

I still have my old comic collection from when I was a kid and have several issues where Wolverine and Sabertooth are actually working together.

Yes I'm that much of a geek lol. Heck I've been working on a design for building a set of double action claws for years, think I may have finally figured out the basic design and might finally give it a go this summer now that I have a shop again lol.

Yeah I also did not like how Sabertooth was portrayed in the first movie, so I tend to ignore that lol.

Oh also a bit of useless info. Originally Wolverines claws were shorter, more curved and came out of his wrist they also were not the "blades" we see today they were more rounded like actual claws. Then they lost some of the curve grew in length and began to come out of the back of his hands, still the overall rounded shape. Next they still came out of the backs of the hands but turned into flat blades. Finally we have the flat blades coming out from between the knuckles.

I was pleased that they included Gambit in this film. But I have mixed feelings about it.

They did a great job of really showing how badass his powers are and how resourceful he is fighting. But the actor didn't quite do it for me. He did not have the thick New Awlins Creawle accent he's supposed to, and didn't come of as quite as slick as he is in the comics.

Anyone else see that they're going to make a movie out of Deadpool?

I'm REALLY excited for that. Deadpool is the E36 M3.

I expect that will be explained away with the same reason Wolverine doesn't remember Sabretooth. WeaponX memory wiping.

I saw the leaked version and thought it was pretty good even with the "special" special-fx.

I'm not much of a comic book geek but I seem to remember a story line where Logan's adamantium was removed (by Magneto?) and the bone-clawed/meteor-metal free Wolverine was much more feral and his healing factor was much, much faster. I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to see some of that aspect.

I don't want to ruin it for anybody who hasn't seen it yet but watching Logan babysit Victor in the beginning war montage got old quick. I wanna see Wolverine go batE36 M3 crazy and tear some E36 M3 up...he's not supposed to be the moral lead in the story.

I have that comic book. Actually, I collected pretty much everything in that story arc of the final showdown against Magneto. Pretty badass. Magneto tore all of the bonded adamantium out of Wolverine. The shock actually was enough to kill him. He was ready to die, since he finally had the chance. He chose to heal himself because something happened to Jean Grey, and he wouldn't let her die. (At least, that's how I remembered and read the story.)

Some of the stuff after that was interesting. It was a lot of psychological strain on Wolverine. I would say his personality changed because he was sort of emotionally desperate. He had to deal with having been finally broken, and still not being able to die. There were some interesting scenes of him chatting with Jubilee where he seemed downright tender.
