Anybody else have family from Xenia, OH? My folks grew up there and my grandparents lived there when the April 1974 tornados converged and destroyed a lot of the town. I was only 2 at the time.

My dad drove down and shot photos from the top of a clock tower that got thrashed but was still standing. They're all on 35mm slides and in a box somewhere but this video is really good.

I have friends that live there, might be from there.  I was 6 years old and living in Westwood in Cincinnati, my mom saw one in the kitchen window probably in Sayler Park.  The other big local hotspot.  Freaked me the berkeley out when she sent me to the basement, DIDN'T COME DOWN WITH ME and said wait there, closed the door.  Maybe 2 minutes in I said berkeley this and came up.  We watched the one on TV filmed from the airport.

Hated bad weather ever since.

I remember that day- grew up in Columbus.  I also remember a bad day when a storm came in REALLY fast- we were at the pool, and by the time we got home after the tornado warning, we thought one was passive over our neighborhood.  Scary.

IIRC, there was a year that there was a tornado warning every Tuesday in June.
