I once found a rare, Turbo Subaru XT a few states away on CL and I began texting the seller. I told him I was from a state two states away, about a 4-hour drive, and I asked for lots of pictures. The seller deleted the posting and re-uploaded it with a "no out of state sales" line newly added- when I asked why they said "you legally cannot sell a car out of state" and blocked me.

Back when I lived in an apartment, I would sneak working on my Miata. There was a younger guy working on a 80's 300zx, he was hosing down his brake rotors with WD40 because the brakes were squeaky...
