Wanna buy another 3g civic? (Yes, I'm serious.)
Thanks but no. Magic spinning triangles are my thing. The Lemons car was a hoot to drive, but I like to light up the back tires, not the front.
Did Jensenman tell you the engine just about fell out of the car? Seems one of the transmission mounting ears broke off the case. The only thing holding up the back of the engine is the shifter and the fire wall. I'm amazed it kept running. Already working on a repair plan. 82nd last year, 10th this year, shooting for a top 5 next time.

Why, are you going to remake "Duel"?
Porsche 996, Corvette C5, NSX

They are few and far between. I have seen maybe two for sale. The more stock they are the higher the price is. The last one I saw was asking 19K. It was mint low mileage 94, and sold in a little over a week.
I wouldn't mind one slightly modified, if I could rip the crap off and find some stock parts the tuner guys are tossing. I'd be more worried about how the car was treated.
Just give me a black base model FD with a 5 speed and I'm happy. Red's good too. I'm distressed at the number of LSx swaps I'm seeing. Save the rotaries!
1st gen MR2, S2000, and Lotus Exige.
Red Elise 'Sport package' with biscuit interior.
Red Series One and a Half E type Jag.
Red FD RX7. R package even better.
Jensen GT, make that one white (gotta match Casper).
2007 KTM 450E/XC (the only year of the true 'race' bike that came street legal).
Add one of these to my very short list.
Hot linked for your viewing pleasure.
AC 911. I REALLY want one...so does my wife.
Lotus Elise. I REALLY.... etc.
FD RX7. One of my favourite shapes, great chassis....
2nd Gen MR2 turbo.
NA Turbo Miata
NSX.
M Coupe...preferably with the S54, but I'm not fussy.
E39 M5: the perfect family hauler (and an outlier on my list, if I'm honest with myself)
CTS-V....but I'd have to convince my wife to get over the front end styling.
yet to obtain
- 63.5 Galaxie fastback
- 68 Thunderbird suicide door
- Jenson Interceptor
- Porsche 930 Turbo 5 speed
- Ford Escort Mk I RS
- Anything by Cosworth
- Any old Formula 1 or F5000 car, OMG they are the coolest
- Lotus V8 twin turbo...........droool
I think I had better stop
Anyone think the Viper GTS will continue to depreciate at this point, or am I clinging to false hope?
False hope is great, if you can't offer any real hope, just identify it as such

DUDE THAT'S AL BUNDY'S CAR!
My long list is pretty huge, but the ones i've been CL searching for lately are:
-
RX7, well any RX really. I almost bid on an RX4 wagon on ebay, but then I remembered I don't have a way to get a car that's 1500 miles away when I have class every day... actually, make that anything with a rotary. I'd even love a REPU and I hate pickups.
-
Starion in decent shape, or not if the price is decent
-
old Supras. not an MKIII, though, I got one of those lined up already
-
Miata. you guys here have corrupted me
-
Volvo 240
-
Saab 900 turbo that's not a convertible, and not 30% rust and bondo
Possibly i'll update this later
The Voices have me looking for an early notch Fox-body. I am finding a lot of them with no titles and they are all V8 cars. My nefarious purposes want a four-cylinder.
I suppose it doesn't matter, since the whole drivetrain and suspension would get yanked in favor of FC RX-7 front running gear, a Group 4 Escort style linkage in the back, and an independent throttle, high compression Duratec powering the beast.

I just want to finish my datsun
I really have a hard time thinking of any Id want if I could have just a couple. If I had enough money, id like a Citroen SM someday, but I wouldn't really use it for anything. For a daily driver, I cant think of anything I really like that much.
Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16v
Honda Accord Euro R
Vauxhall Lotus Carlton
Ford Prefect
Caterham R500 or short term a Locost 7 will do
Holden HSV Maloo
Short List:
Ariel Atom
Ferrari 308 GTB
STI
any rally car
simple! :)
oops... Didn't read carefully enough... More realistically/sooner:
Miata (already got it)
WRX
rally prepped FWD Impreza
My "short list" is full of stuff I used to have, and let wonder off..
Jeep SJ 2-door.
BMW 2002.
Triumph GT-6 (Mk.2).
BMW E21 Chassis 323i.
2nd Gen Honda Prelude.

Now all I need is money.

I figure you already have about 1/2 your list stashed somewhere on the compound, and simply forgot where you put them.
My short list
Saab 96
Buick Grand National
Jaguar Mk2
Plymouth Cricket
Triumph TR6
MG T-series
Edit: And add a sixth generation F series
