1960 Flat Top Cadillac

You know you want it!

I've got a 1960 flat top Sedan Deville (4 door) project.

This is a complete car, but it is significantly dismantled.

The body has been lifted off the car, and set back loose. Entire interior removed. Ready for body work, which is not bad. Never wrecked, no rot. Frame is excellent. Trim has been removed, and there are some small rust spots under some of the trim (no holes). Worst rust is the roof rail rails (under trim), which should be repaired before paint.

It's even got the rear fender skirts and bullet grill/ bumper! (not pictured)

It rolls. All glass good. Engine spins (intake is removed). Ran well without smoke. Chrome is complete, not dented, in good condition (Would be fine bolted back on for a driver).

It's got a 390, and the interior has been completely reupholstered (black/ maroon), but never reinstalled.

I love this car, but I am too limited on shop space, and it's really big. I just don't have the space, and am limited in my Cadillac knowledge.

Selling separately: Quad 4 intake and carbs for the 390. $1000 obo.

I could make some pretty good change parting this out, but I'd really rather see someone get it who would give it some love. I just can't keep it much longer.

I'm glad I read your ad. From the first picture, I was thinking "whatever he's asking for the car, it's going to cost at least that much again to source the glass for it." But it's all there!

Yeah the pics are not a fair representation.

Most of the "good" parts (glass, new interior, bumpers, chrome, go fast goodies, etc) are very well buried in my attic, and impossible to get good pics of.

Of course if someone has a real interest, I will dig out everything and send the best info I can. But I can't do it without a real interest.

I've been looking at the value of the parts, and if I can't find a buyer soon, I will cut it up and sell it as parts. It's worth a lot more in pieces. I'd just like to see someone give it the love it needs.

Yes holy crap do I want it. I have less than no space right now though. So freaking cool.

Probably my favorite year for Cadillacs. But I already have a behemoth that needs less love than this one, so I'll let someone else bring her back.

A stack of refrigerant, hvac tools, and all the miata parts in my garage(none, sorry)

I want it but don't have the means/need for a project that large both in size and scope. I forwarded this to my buddy who has a 60 CDV. I'm an enabler.
