For sale is my TAIG Micro Lathe II + Tooling. Been lurking on the forums for a while, but with spring coming up I need to get a start for rally cross season. asking $350, or even better would be a trade for a car in the CNY area.

Lathe was ordered with the following options

K1019 - Unassembled Micro Lathe II kit

1050 - 3 Jaw 3 1/4" dia. self centering scroll chuck (steel body) with reversible aluminum soft jaws 3/4-16 thd.

1092 - 1/16-3/8" Jacobs drill chuck, commercial quality 3/8-24 thd.

1150 - Drilling tailstock

1162 - 6 step pulley set for 1/2" shaft motor, No. 3M 315 12 1/2" belt

1310 - 1" spindle wrench

1170 - Extra tool post

It also comes with: a set of 1/4" shank tooling with carbide inserts. a modified tool post to accept 3/8" shank tooling a set of 3/8" carbide tipped tools.

It is still in like new condition I have actually only ran it a handful of times. Has a 1/3hp Westinghouse motor that runs off from standard 120v household outlets. Currently mounted to a steel plate so that it does not absorb cutting fluid.

That's exactly what I've been looking for, but we are just a little too far apart (4.5 hours).

Woody, I tried sending you a PM but not sure if that feature even works since I don't see a page for an inbox anywhere. I would definitely be willing to meet half way if that is something you are interested in.

I've seen some small lathes shipped for not a lot of money. I'm not sure just him small this one is.

PMs here go to people's emails. There isn't an inbox per se like there is on other forums.

Their mills are also very nice. I did a quick shipping estimate on the lathe with USPS and it looks like it would only be between $40-$50 to ship it. For those who want to run their own numbers here are the dimensions and an estimated weight.

Length:24", Width:12", Height:12", Weight: Approx. 40lbs
