Someone needs to find the ex fleet ranger and bolt this bad boy in and twin turbo it.
Every time this comes to the top I do two things:
1. google how far the drive is from me to you (still 10 hours one way).
2. check wikipedia for the HP rating of the SHO v8 (still 235).
Gah.

3. Look at RWD conversions.

wrong. if you need RWD and want this to actually run, it needs to be installed as is in the back of something. like my fiat x1/9.

I'd agree with you but then we would both be wrong. It needs to be in the front of a Model A.
I never knew about the SHO 3.4 V8. Very interesting engine.
I like that method of transferring the strut locations to the new chassis.
V8 SHO owners have done manual swaps. I think it's the same pattern as the SVT Contour transmission.
Hang on, let me do some research.
OK, I think the choice is between a MTX-75, like the Contour, or a Mazda 6 transmission. There's more info here but it's hard for me to be sure what's fact and what's speculation.

Don't forget to weld the cam gears or else valves will become friendly with pistons if they slip.
Is this engine not a candidate for RWD swaps?
Asking, for a friend.
In reply to Donebrokeit :
"They" say it's the same as the Duratec V6 and here a link where GRM discussed that:

Not that I've researched it or anything.

Nope. Robbie called it!
i don’t even have a project for it in mind, and still want it.
In reply to 03Panther :
No offense, but you seem to want everything.
