For Sale: Nice 15" black leather wrapped, aluminum spoke Lecarra steering wheel. Mount fits 1977/80 MGB and mid seventies Chevy. No horn contact for the Chevy (available everywhere ), but a bolt in as-is for the MGB.

Complete from horn push to mount with directional cancelation cam attached, bolt right into the MGB.

Like to get $130 with mount, $100 for the steering wheel and horn push alone.

Thanks—

I have a 71 MGB project sitting here in the shop that will need a nice steering wheel in 10 years when I sell it in the same condition that it's in today.

I thought all MGB's used the same steering wheel adapter but you state it only works on 1977-1980? I'm interested if it would fit my car, so can you get me the part number from the adapter so I could do some additional research and see if it might fit.

Thanks,

In reply to lotusseven7 (Forum Supporter) :

The wheels/adapters for 1971 and up MGBs are all the same, they vary in that the cars up to 1976 had a horn contact ring at the bottom of the wheel/adapter wired to an active horn button in the center of the steering wheel. The later cars had the horn function on the blinker stalk, center motif on the wheel rather than the button, and a directional cancelation cog on the bottom of the wheel/adapter. This wheel has that cancelation cog on the bottom rather than the horn contact ring, making it correct for the 1977-1980 MGB. It fits other years, of course, but has no horn contact. Hopes that this helps explain—
