Back in 2015, I bought this alignment machine from Dean.  As excited as I was to have my own alignment machine, my lifestyle & garage layout really don't support doing my own alignments.  I've used it a handful of times and it's worked fine, but I'd like the space back in my garage.

It looks like it did a few years ago, slightly dustier.   Since I've gotten it, I've fixed/extended/acquired wires so I have a total of 5 (or is it 6?) sensor wires.  The only problem I've had is that the floppy disk it boots off of occasionally doesn't read on startup.  Shut it off a few times and it's always come back.  There are new ones on Ebay for <$40, or if you have an old school 3.5" (non-USB) I'd assume you can do a bit transfer to a new one.

I'm looking for the $300 I have wrapped up in it or trade for a decent camber/caster gauge or perhaps a horizontal bandsaw?

It's currently located in Stafford, CT, you'll want either a hatchback with fold-down seats or a wagon/minivan-class vehicle to transport it.

I’m glad/sad you’re not close to me.

Me too, 'cos I'd tell my new employer a great way to save $50k on an alignment machine...

You're not close at all, but this thing would be worth the trip even tho I wouldn't be able to use it for a couple years.

That is pure porn.

Clutchsmoke - Let me know if you're heading east, maybe we can meet up.

Hasboro - That's why I grabbed it.  But like that project car that you haven't touched for 5 years, it's only bringing me reminders of over-ambition and things that my life choices don't support :)

I am both sad and happy I missed this the first time it came through. After the cluster berkeley that my last alignment was, I would have probably made the drive.
