NMNA. It seems the northeast is the right place for companies to test market a product, diverse weather and geography I guess. There was a very step hill at work, the summer help used one of these on it. Standing on top of the hill, tie a rope to the handlebars and walk from on end of the hill to the other; lower it 22" and go back, repeat all afternoon.
Aside from the entertainment value, I don't know much about them. (they're out there for less $$$).
My summer camp used to cut their front hillside with these, on a 200' rope.
Wow, never seen a Flymo in this country. Back in the 70's in the UK Flymo was the most common brand of mower, there were still more rotary style mowers overall, but Flymo was the single biggest brand by far. For a kid less than 10, they were easier to move, although they could get away from you more easily.

The one person I knew who had one was a mutual friend of ours, another expat Brit.

One of my life's greatest regrets is not dragging home the Flymo that I found at the dump.
