Oh wow
Drive by wire LS1? So was it originally for a 'vette? Real low profile? What's the height on it? If I can get that under the hood of my e30 I'm interested...
Awesome, when I get home from work I'll try to see how much clearance I have underhood. Supercharged v8's always sounds so much cooler.

All Corvette LS1s were drive by wire, Chevy developed DBW specifically for the C5 because they felt the LS1 was too much power to control without precise driver aids.
I found that kinda amusing when the F bodies got cable throttle a year later. "Eh, berk 'em, they're just going to shred the rearend or yeet it backwards into a ditch anyway..."
Trucks got the DBW too but that wasn't until after the fbody twins went away. And obviously those were 4.8/5.3/6.0 not LS1s

Not sure if Magnusson made a supercharger for the trucks. Truck engines had tall manifolds in part so the throttle body would not exist where the fan was. Granted, it is trivial to convert a pickup to electric fan (get a 1 ton radiator and electric fan setup, add three relays and two wires to the PCM, enable fans with HPT or similar) but the Magnusson setup may interfere with the fan, and once really nice thing about their kits is that if you need a nut or a bolt or a clamp or a zip tie, it will come with it. And the instructions will show you, with photos, where it goes.
