As title states, three Goldwings in various states of disrepair. I'll take some pictures this morning in case anybody happens to be interested.
'75 GL1000, probably 70% there. Engine not seized anymore.
'81 GL1100, really not much left. Longblock (seized), trans, gas tank, frame.
'80 GL1100, almost all there (missing seat, mufflers, small stuff). Full fairing present and intact.
Happy to ship parts if anybody needs Goldwings specific stuff or universal bits for other bikes. Throwing these on CL and FB in a week or so, then scrapping the leftovers before New Years.
Is there any value to older Gold Wings in general? There is one that got a bit wet sitting down at my FIL's place, and I've been debating if it's worth trying to bring back from the dead.

In my limited experience, not really. Parts are getting harder to come by, and they're an old motorcycle at this point. Not cool enough to play with the cool kids, even given the "vintage" status, and the people who want cruisers typically wind up with much nicer newer equipment.
You should go find out what parts you need for yours and we can work out a deal for cheap parts.
In reply to Apis Mellifera :
You'd have to take my wife. Package deal.
Edit: although... she might not leave me if you were sending your Sprite to come live with us. She always wanted one of those.
In reply to JohnInKansas :
If you were closer I'd be coming to get them. Always wanted a cafe Goldwing.

If you were closer to me I'd take them. I had two other vintage Honda motorcycles in the past and doing up an old Goldwing would be cool to me.
For you guys who think Kansas is too far, I have 3 and 2/2 75-78 Gold Wings in Indy that are also in need of a new home. Rent a big u-haul and drag them all home :-)
