Looking for a couple things for my RX7 for next season.  Planning to ditch the beehive cooler since it is starting to leak worse now.

  • oil filter pedestal from a FMOC engine
  • OE FMOC

I have an Autopower bolt-in roll bar if anyone is interested in it.  I'm located about 20 minutes from Mount Airy, NC.

Yo bud!

Lemme see what I can do...

I know my buddy has 3 of them (I gave them to him).

 What else you need?

Do you need any spare 12As or transmissions?  I have 4..

I do have a FMOC from a GSLSE and I think I have the non behive pedestal kicking around.

The lines on the FMOC should be assumed to weep and condition of the bosses on the cooler element would be unknown.  They don't seem to have cracks but I could take pictures of you are interested

Above is all I need right now.  Going to OE style to save some points for suspension upgrades.

I have both an early and later FB oil cooler, two different pedestals, and a very suspect set of hoses. I'm pretty sure they all came from Pull-A-Part twenty years ago, and I never needed to use them.

nocones is right. Just about every oil cooler has cracked bosses because of overtightening. My early cooler absolutely has cracks (shown in the pics). The later cooler is less likely to have cracks, but there are no guarantees, especially since I never had it on a running car. I have had the cracks in bosses TIG welded. It was a good repair and didn't leak. If you know a good welder it isn't a serious issue.

The short pedestal is what I believe came on the FBs. I'm not sure where I got the tall pedestal.

I'll throw in the hoses and banjo fitting, and you'll probably want them. There are a handful of options. The easiest option is to take them to your hose builder and have him build you new hoses that match. The downside is that the fittings on the oil coolers and engine are metric, and your local hose shop is not likely to have them. Fortunately, metric stuff is a lot easier to find now than it was back when I got these. Second is to throw these in the trash, find good metric-to-AN adapters, and fab new braided hoses. The banjo bolt (not pictured, it was in a separate parts pile) can be replaced with a metric-to-AN adapter. This is probably the best option. The third option is to cut off the outer crimps on the hoses, replace the hose, and use very strong, good hose clamps in place of the crimps. Some guys did this back in the day, but I won't vouch for it.

EDIT: Doh! I just realized the hoses are missing their adapters. Option two, all the way.

Pick a cooler and a pedestal, and I'll ship them to you with the hoses, hose bracket, and banjo bolt for $100.
