This harmonic balancer is off of a '56 Cadillac 365 V8. My quandary is this: While looking at photos of used harmonic balancers for sale on fleebay, etc. I noticed that the machined, for lack of a better word, hole(s) are in different places and in different numbers on various balancers. This makes me think that they are set up with a specific engine. My thought was to get a used balancer and send it off to be rebuilt. Now I wonder what to do. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Edit: Nemmine. They were balanced BEFORE going on the engine.
