I am impressed how much better the lighting is now. Just see for yourself, especially at the end.
Yep - I went straight to 4' LED bars when building the grosh. The ability to change the color temperature was awesome. Its an oversized 2 car - 1 fixture along the back wall, and then perpendicular to that, are 3 more - 1 fixture over each bay and one in between. I was worried because I had heard tale of LEDs giving people headaches, but I havent had anything like that.
Nightitme view - plenty of light:
You quickly get used to having proper lighting in the garage. I did the barrina led's and it was a total game changer. The garage went from a poorly lit storage area to a well lit place to get work done.
if anyone is thinking about it, absolutely do it!
I replaced two generic bulbs with giant LED fixture things like this:
And the work bench light with an LED tube. Big difference.

Having good light is great. I added a lot at the old house. This garage was better right from the get go but now it's amazing
Lighting is KEY. LEDs aren't perfect but they sure don't suffer from nearly the same headaches as fluorescent. Why anyone would still muck about with fluorescent tubes is beyond me.
