Saturday morning, the baddest cordless impact thread got me looking at Home Despot's website where I noticed the Ridgid 1/2" was on sale...

So, I ordered one.  Should be here Friday...

Last night I saw that Harbor Fright had these boxes on sale ending today.

Wound up buying 2 of them...

Almost a grand. Just vanished from my bank account...

What tools did you spend your cash on recently?

When a guy goes shopping, he says "This weekend just got expensive".

When a woman goes shopping, she says "Guess how much money I saved!"

..Thankful my wife isn't a "go shopping for fun" person.

I've been making college payments and I just bought another used car - I know the feeling of expensive weekends.

It's all like Monopoly money I guess.  LOL.

I have recently sung my praises of the orange tools.  Good choice.

I've been trying to stay in one family of batteries, so I got the impact that matched what I already have. I like the battery warranty too, considering all my older tools failed by battery degradation not actual tool failure.

I was trying to stay with milwaukee, but then I was given some ryobi 18v stuff and bought a makita lawn mower with 4 18v batteries. It's honestly kind of freeing being able to buy whatever tool fits your needs best instead of which one matches your batteries. I still try to keep to one battery type for tools that go with me to the track, though.

In the last week I bought a new truck.

Then I scheduled to have a spray in bed liner

Then I ordered a back seat protector (kids..  mess...)

then I ordered mud flaps

Then I ordered a roll up bed cover...

Oh, somewhere in there I called my insurance and figured out what a brand new truck added to my yearly.
