Things have been hectic this week, but I've been trying to squeeze in a few late night sessions. I'm always in for multiplayer if there are others around, so shoot me a message if you see me online.
Any collective thoughts on a league night or format? Since rivals mode against ghost cars seems popular, what about a "rivals live" with collisions turned off and scored by the fastest single lap? (the multiplayer settings can be set up for it.).
Good to see I wasn't the only one impressed by this game.
Must have vintage trans am racing.
I have the paint scheme just need the specs to build the car lol
Vintage Trans-Am...yes!!! Make mine a Javelin in Red/White/Blue.
AAR Cuda would be sweet too, aww hell they're all amazing!!
Just no smash up derby stuff. I had fun playing in Rivals mode, calmed me down a bit after my horrible online experience. i would assume this group would be all like minded individuals looking for some real good, clean racing. Can't wait to get going, this game is amazing!

Try the a-class Javelin or Group 44 liveried Dodge Dart from the club garage.
Moparman- I'll have a Challenger up next.

Man, my whole weekend went by and i didnt get to race with anyone!
When are you guys on?!
When you're watching Netflix. I jump on and off throughout the weekend, but was with family on sat which is probably why I wasn't on.
Sperlo! That's my girl on netflix... you play on sundays? That's my only weekend day off...
I am totally down for a trans am formula. I really enjoyed the pre-74 series, And I think this would work well as well.
I vote sundays... its the only weekend night im off

I am really curious about a wireless wheel they were demoing at Best Buy... anyone have any experience with these?
It's the xbox wireless speed wheel, and they seem to go for about $50.
This thing is sweet. the wife surprised me with the game and this wheel. I have been about 1 second faster with this over a regular controller. It really helps with the marginal turn in instead of a semi digital input I normally have with a regular "joystick"
I will warn, this does not have all the buttons, so I have not been able to tune with it. I have only played once, so I have not gone back in to try having a regular controller connected to tune and this one to drive.
Ok. I have seen this picture about 10 times but just now realized now how this thing works. Its got the triggers on it, but then you can turn it in your hands for steering. That is cool. I might have to try that out the next time I see it set up in the store.
Here is a tip for tuning/painting. If you turn the controller on with the "wheel" already turned on, it gets assigned it to player 2 on the console, and will stay assigned to player 2 until you turn off the console. So you wont be able to tune/paint with it in single player.
What you might want to try is hold down the guide button till the menu pops up and turn off whatever controller you are using, THEN, turn the other one on, and it should assign to player 1, and you can tune and paint. This is what I have to do with my Microsoft Wheel to switch back and forth between controllers.
Sundays sound good! (As soon as I get my stupid butt online...)
I finally got to race the Javelin in the game. It's a squirrelly beast!
I'm itching to build something now. Don't have the B-Spec's for the 2 yet and I don't have a 2nd Javelin to Trans Am clone. Maybe I'll build Datsun 240Z into something cool. I'm thinking metallic lime green with gold BBS's...

The B-spec and Trans-Am(ish) cars in the club garage all have a good basic tune. Also, I've started putting the tuning setups in my storefront, so if you want to download it and tweak it further, have at it!
I love tuning... Whats the formulas? Ill start building tonight!

Argh! I'm not on Live yet, so I can't download them!
Fit_Is_Slo and my user name one Xbox is Cesar Romero. We both share it.
This is what i found from Spec Miata:

Wow. That Tullius Group 44 Dart is pretty good Tom. Did two online races with it. Finished 2nd at Mugello full on the first try, then won the next race at Motegi full with 12 people in the room!
You can save multiple class setups to the same car. Just go into your setup manager and save under whatever name you want, and be able to race one car across multiple classes. Just don't ever get rid of the parts needed for that tune though.
Tom what's your gamertag so I can check your storefront?
You should be able to get to his storefront from the club page. Otherwise, he's GRM Tom.
ALMOST got some races going this evening... then, they fizzled. aw well...
Sounds like I need to but a reconditioned xbox so I can play this game.

Try the Challenger or the the Camaro if you get the chance. They're about as close to even as my consistency can make them, so a second opinion would be great! (Though they're grossly overbuilt from a historic perspective...)
Moparman- I can gift you one if you'd like. Feel like painting too?
Here's some great source material for those with the patience for it. http://www.historictransam.com/Cars.html
Wow that Javelin is a sweetheart! Didn't get a chance to try out the Dart Tom built. Also the Ferrari P330 was everything I thought it would be. They really nailed the engine sounds in this game.

Sure, I already have a downloaded posey paint job for a challenger so I'm good to go. You guys are going to make me abandon my current club with all this awesome car talk.
Also, there is so much win in this pic it hurts.
Gah, Sunday's conflict with Walking Dead. Time to prioritize....
