I have considered Re naming the cars folder in the content folder and then making a new cars folder and then installing the cars. That way I think I would end up with only the installed cats visible. Not sure it would work but worth a try sometime.

You all ready for some fun tonight? We can also explore other cars or go back to the ones we were playing with last week if people want.
Tonight ain't gonna be pretty. I absolutely cannot get any of these things to not just randomly swap ends on me. Of the couple dozen practice laps I've put in, I think there were three times that I was able to get through turn... 4? (tight left uphill with the Audi Sport walls) without the car spinning around. So I apologize in advance to anyone who has the misfortune to be next to me at any point.
Some end of the night silliness
I'm not sure how you end up facing backward before the start, but it happened to me:
That's not a carousel, this is a carousel

You got me curious so I tried giving it an honest go, couldn't do it. Then I spent a couple laps trying to find a launch-cut but started getting motion sick from the car going into tumble dry mode whenever it goes airborne and had to call it. Either you crushed that lap or found something the rest of us haven't, but either way, hat tip.
In reply to ProDarwin :
Son of a... apparently it won't let me buy the ultimate edition if I already have the base.
In reply to e30Matt :
You have to remove the base from your library first. I ran into the same issue earlier this year.

There are some tricks to going around the course really fast you'll need to figure out, not totally cutting the course or anything dumb or ridiculous, but I'll give you a hint, one of them is a strategic Flat Over Crest

Thanks. Did you also uninstall/remove files or just install the ultimate edition over the existing?
I uninstalled/removed before reinstalling. I never touched CM and it continued to work great.
That said, this was before we had a billion extra cars/tracks to deal with.
Well, talk about your all time biggest backfires, it won't let me buy the ultimate edition except as a gift for someone else. Anyone care to purchase it as a gift for me and I'll paypal you 8 bucks?
In reply to ProDarwin :
Yep, even after removing. I can repurchase the base game and all the DLC but not the ultimate edition.
A few pics from this week. I did not see any great video review opportunities.
Some suprisingly close racing in the Supercars... for the first lap.
Darwin looks to make a bit of an aggressive turn in and manages to hit two cars at the same time, taking only himself out.
So how does one get started participating in this group? Do I just follow the information on the first post or are there some important changes buried in the almost 40 pages of posts?
Follow the first & second post.
Get AC. Get Content Manager. Get Discord.
PM someone on Discord to get invited to the the channel.
Join the fun.
My discord # is posted on here a few times, ping me if you have any issues.

Thanks. I already have AC and have played a bit solo, as well as downloaded some cars and tracks from race department and asseto club. What does content manager do for you exactly?
Is it still typically Wednesday night races or are people racing on other days and times?
Thanks
Wednesday is the only regular time and draws the biggest crowd. Some of us are on at random during the rest of the week, but rarely more than 3 or 4 at a time.
The normal menu system for AC is the 'front end', and when you go into a race it launches a separate .exe Content manager provides an infinitely superior interface with all the BS cut out. It also includes some visual upgrades (shader patch) that not only make the game look better, but run faster as well. Also it makes installing mods as simple as drag 'n drop. Its very useful.
