Might be theruleslawyer#6747, but that's formerly known as.
Quoting this to make it easier to see.
Darwin, I did try to look him up with the ID above, but Discord still doesn't find anyone. It looks like I can only invite friends(?), but even just searching for him results in nothing. Sending a friend request did not not find him. Maybe the user name is wrong?
In reply to retrocrx :
The user I am pretty sure can only be found via it's IP, which is: 108.49.135.247:8082
Password is the lowercase version of a certain 3 letter popular car magazine(!)
Looking at the screen, I am not entirely sure how to search by IP, but maybe just the search box?
Also, I will make sure to put of the season thread tonight, which has a lot of useful into in the first two posts. Here is that last one, which also has the info in the first two posts: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/simulation-central/grm-assetto-corsa-racing-league-mustangs/260441/page1/
OK in Content manager you just have to type that IP into the search box in Online and the server comes up. I got in no problem.....
BUT......For some reason I can't seem to select my car.......I just seem to get a random car skin. Or maybe not random......I get the same car every time...... Dark Monahue's car.
Meh......minor detail. At least I can do a few laps
Rob
Yeah, no skin selection for online, Dean has to do that from the server side, based on your Steam ID.

When I looked this afternoon, it seemed not all of the liveries in the 'group photo' were in the V3 download... are some still in the works?
Yeah, there was an update to add Darwin. I did make a V4 to add rulesLawyer. The server is at V3, so when I upload V4, don't update until Dean updates the server.

I have to assign you a car. I then moved all the assigned cars to the back of the list so if randoms join in and someone is not in their car and it was the next in line to be used the random would get it. Normally I move the car that is assigned to someone to the back of the list when I assign it.
Due to internal technical things, I have not moved the assigned cars to the back of the list yet. I have not done this as I need to keep the order of the cars on two separate screens the same so I can more easily tell what car is what in the screen that I assign the cars to drivers.
I am hoping that when I do the final update of the car pack I don't have to re do the assigning of cars. We will see.

We are approaching the half way point of the GT4 series so time to start looking at next season options. One I will be looking at is a lupo cup series if I can find a decent car. I was netting around with off line racing with the AI and it was really interesting to see what the game considered to be equal cars. I was running a bug eye sprite and one of the equal vehicles it put in was a European race truck. 😁😂😳
Oh and by my count this will be the 15th season!!!!!!!

I am 1000% down to run a Bugeye Sprite! I do have one downloaded on my CM, love that thing
And yes Nick, if you have some suggestions we are very willing to listen. We just look for good racing, so some testing is always in order. Something involving small bore classic cars would be fun (there is a classic small bore touring car pack we have used before). One thing that is much harder in AC than in was in GT is balancing the cars though, so we have to be careful with that.
One thing that might be useful way to find matched cars is to pick a track, set up a race with an AI car that you want to test, then just pull your car off and see what the AI runs, record time, switch cars, repeat. It won't be perfect, but it should be pretty good, for that track at least (they will just follow the AI line, but it will be consistent). To bad there was not a tool that could do that automatically.
I really am thinking we go Alto for next season. That is unless I find a more ridiculous option. Like 1998 Corolla's or something.
A Kei Car series!! Fun. Low power, high fun.
Or Possibly
