Here are some logo treatments, on shirts:
Here are some more logo comparison presentations for discussion. I think the flag design is a bit more appealing, but it's clearly rather derivative of the GRM logo, and might cause issues? Either are good on black or white (though a bit better on black I think) and work on light or dark colors (though look a bit better in black or white I would say).
Any thoughts or concerns?
I'll second that.
While the chequered flag feels more familiar, the tach one is more stylish. But I like them both.
I would go white or black with the GP. Also my son commented that instead of simsports we should use Simracing. I am not sure about that one.
In reply to TravisTheHuman :
OK. I think that is the reasonable choice. I will remove that little artifact of the tach on the "m" btw.
Regarding setting up a store. Although I like the selection and design options on the Spreadshirt site, the store you can setup, although pretty easy to do, does not seem to do what we would want. It appears to be primarily setup to sell single design shirts. Although not a problem if we want to do one sided shirts (they would just need to be one comprised of only one file element, which could be multiple things), but, if we want to do two sided shirts, as we have been doing (logo in the front, race series on the back), I don't think it will work.
Anyone have any ideas for a site that might allow selling of two sided designs. Somewhere were we could put up designs, and anyone (maybe with a link or something) can go in and buy the shirt, or modify it to their like if they want? I will take a look at Teespring.com.
Teespring might be good. I created a small store. I did not fully brand it as GP Simsports (it's currently GPS), so I can create another one when needed. Take a look at some test offerings:

I am not sure about the logo only shirts. Do you think the full size (light shirts), or slightly smaller size (dark shirts), looks more balanced.
There are a variety of different product that can be presented also (e.g. bags, bumper sticker, pull overs, woman's style shirts etc), so I tried to create a few that might have some interest. The 914 Series short is an example of a two sided series shirt (roll over to see other side)
BTW - if you want to actually order anything, you should be able to! I rounded the prices to the minimum whole dollar, so there is up to 25 cent profit on some of them, some are zero (!). I figure this provides a slight offset for the free series shirts. (Or I could use it to finance the overthrow of an unnamed central African country that I am trying... I think I have said to much...)
I also added a non-premium logo t-shirt (not shown below), but it's only down to $16, so unless it's very similar to the premium, I would say, don't bother with it.
Delivery looks to be around $5 per item, which is OK for a single item, but a bit silly if you are ordering 2 or more shirts!
First of all, Happy New Year!
Amazon also has a T-shirt printing service, Amazon Merch. Haven't tried it, only found out about it recently when I tried to track the Christmas sweater that JoeyM was wearing in one of his latest posts. Might be worth checking out.
Also: Can't see the two sided shirt on the site, seems like it has been replaced by the 'economy' black.
Happy New Year!! I just bought a t-shirt and sticker from the GPS site via paypal. Looking forward to receiving them and seeing how it goes!
Yeah, updating the store can be a bit flakey. I will try putting it up again. Organization is a bit weird also. I seem to have no control over the order of presentation. I think there is a way to create sub-categories?
Gunner... we have our crash test dummy! Post a pic and a review of what you get.
Ah... I was just going to tell Gunner, it looks like you orders two of everything!
I updated the store with the 914 series shirt, so you should be able to see what a two sided shirt looks like (they are a bit more expensive than the one sided of course).
Look at these profits people!!!... (yes, I am a horrible business man).
