Anyone tried the street racing? Checking the map shows that there is one in the "hood" (just off the V in the road that goes to the stadium) and another in the airport loop.

Any favorite cars yet? I kind of like the MINI style one. Not fast, but it really dodges though traffic well. I want to find one of those GT40 looking ones.

I just got in a huge gun fight with a nudist camp up in the Northeast (I think) mountains. Very graphic...

lol I need to find that!

as far as favorite car. I like the classic that has the 65 riviera style clamshell lights. I steal that one often and plan to customize one a little, then save it in Michael's garage.

I saw a golfcart in a video, someone should try and customize one of those.

COMPLY!!!

+1 on the MINI, and there's a Lotus Elise-y lookin thing that's not bad either.

I will keep my eye out for that one.

I did spot the Baja bug (which has a dual Webber IDF motor) when I was chasing a Stearman style crop duster (that WILL be mine). I am curious what that will be like with different wheels and lowered.

Also of note, there is a large hanger at the airport that can be bought. That means no more trying to stuff helicopters into a garage!

I wanted to suggest to you guys, once they get the online going, you need to setup some sort of fully armed, no holds bared, Mad Max style racing. That could get entertaining.

Make sure there is a jump in the course.

Up to a billion in sales!

I have to say I am a bit concerned at the number of parents that are likely letting fairly young kids (OK boys) play this. It is clearly a very mature game.

DAJIBAN!

complete with carbon hood, front spoiler, tow hook, oil cooler, race seats, roll cage, absolutely dumped suspension. Its called a Bravado Youga, which is cool because I believe the name of the shop in japan that builds all those Dajiban vans is called Youga Base.

You can only do this to the passenger version of this van (with the windows) I tried it before with a windowless version and it wont let me upgrade it. Same goes for the chevy express clone. Which is a shame because that one is quicker in stock form.

First car I grabbed and upgraded with Trevor (because for some reason he has like 120k) was the woody station wagon. It was a waste of money, I bought the stage 3 engine upgrade and turbo upgrade, it was still slow as balls. This Dajiban van is slow as balls to begin with its a little quicker after the upgrades.

I did find an AE86 coupe near the beach in a parking lot a few days ago, I am trying to find another so I can upgrade it now. It was moderately quick and handled really well.

Lolz,

Just got off the phone with my six year old, he said that he wasn't allowed to tell me what the surprise is but he hopes I'll let him help me play it.

So good news is it's likely the game, bad news is it's going to break his heart when I tell him it's not a game for kids, only adults and he can't even watch me play it.

I managed to get the gt40. I was unimpressed. Traction is a serious premium with it.... And I'm used to hitting the ebrake and dialing in oppo in any game that isn't gt5 or forza. This will take some learning

HA!

I was talking about "getting on the rooftop with a grenade launcher and raining mayhem on those below.."

One of the guys at worked turned and looked at me really funny.

I had to tell him it was a video game.

I've pinched a couple of those. Love that it is a bit of a blend of an AE86 and a DR30 Skyline:

Fun little car to rip around in.
