Yep, I need to join the club tonight.

I second the vote on the helicopters in flight school suck. I was on the high speed run and kept crashing into the bridge that you go through. ugh.

you have to go through those 2 bridge towers and then between a couple buildings and you are done. I completed it last night so I could start the next heist. You can slow down quite a bit there and still get to the finish with plenty of time left.

And thankfully thats the last helicopter lesson and its on to skydiving.

Yeah the story line seems kind of short...I am ok with that because you can replay missions at any time and there are large chunks of the world I still havent explored. And all the side activities. And you know there will be DLC in the future (more missions to take on)

I was thinking the same. Plus, when multiplayer hits, myself and clutchsmoke will torture 12 year olds for hours of laughs. Everyone is welcome to join, of course.

I just joined the crew. I did not realize I could do that since I am on PS3.

Does this mean the PS2 and XBOX peoples will be able to play online together? That would be interesting.... that would also mean I would be playing with Poop.... I think I am a little afraid of him....

If we are in the same crew, we don't shoot each other, right? A properly motivated Poop could be a good thing in that case... just have to make sure he is pointed in the right direction.

AFAIK we can only "crew" on the social club cross platform. I don't think we can actually play together.

Also Tom- I'm jealous. I'm getting there- probably have it tonight or tomorrow. Then time to play the market and make piles of loot.

EDIT- I have 3 missions left. One is an assassination I'm saving on purpose til I have all the loot- the other two- must be for the last of the game. The big score and something else, I'm guessing.

These are not cheats, just tips about different aspects of the game. Potential spoiler alert and all that. But a lot of these tips are things I would have never figured out, ever, just playing the game by myself.

1. I don't even have the berkeleying sniper rifle yet.

2. I am teh suck at the whole live gaming thing, as evidenced by what a berkeleying pain in the ass I was on the GRM Forza series.

Sounds right, but that's if you're really worried about the money. After I beat the game, I start a different file and use cheats.

the logic being, you have waaayyyy more money available to invest and maximize your profits from the assassination missions. that page I linked to earlier goes into that in a little more detail

My wife just told me that she enjoys watching me play GTA. I guess after all the tough times with epilepsy its a good sign of normalcy.

Huh. about 40 hours of gameplay into most of the freaks, and the entire story. Not bad.

So turns out you can survive jumping out of a helicopter without a parachute with Trevor. Engage his special ability just before hitting the pavement. And many other fun things!

The airlines one works all the time if you wanted to cash in now, steal a chopper, shoot down a jetliner from company A, invest heavily in company A, then repeat with company B..... Many people shall die as a result.

I made just over 20mil a toon off the last assassination, waiting til the very end with all my cash. I did all the other hits prior, otherwise i'd be EXTREMELY loaded.

Also- holy hell. I can't believe I finished the game that quickly. I'll echo Tom's comment- holy hell- that ending. Credits are RIDICULOUSLY long as well.
