Highly recommend it!!! Speeds up boot up as well as all disk paging by a huge amount. The down side is I spent more on the drive than the whole PS4 cost but I also doubled the capacity.
If you want an almost a good option there are hybrid drives that are a big improvement in speed with the same doubling of capacity that are less than $100.
