I got pretty close to your dream car at 17. '71 RS. It's one of the only cars "of that type" I wish I kept (rose colored glasses for sure).

If we are talking about TV fantasy cars... I would have rocked the Mach 5 so hard when I was 12. That and some of Marine Boy's oxygen gum.

I was into both. We were going to Lakeland and Oshkosh every year around that time and I still remember when this came out:

The one I remembered was Lancair's first, tail N420HP that had the Ford V8 symbol painted on the belly of the airplane.

Same. I'm going to fix that in the next year or so though.

At least that one has an outfit.

I didn't start dreaming about that one until I was about 20, right after I bought a clapped out Formula 400. I'm still dreaming about it. Actually its more of a nightmare, since I passed on a pretty mint example back in the mid 90's because I thought the $12k asking price was too high.
Buick Roadmaster w/wood grain. And the z32 was pretty much what got me into imports. Also was a huge fan of my neighbors '56 sedan delivery wagon. I still sort of want a roadmaster but the other half would definitely not ok that purchase lol. I had a z31 for a while, and my parent's bought the '56 about 15 years ago so... at least I'll have my mitts on that one someday lol

I remember the first time I saw one (must have been 1998-1999?) it was dark blue with tan interior, probably a 1993 model? I was riding my bike in my neighborhood at 15 and nearly fell off my bike trying to turn around and follow it to figure out what it was! I remember thinking that it looked like a smaller, more attractive C5 Corvette (funny, cause it predated it by 5+ years)
Several.
First fantasy car was
Also high on the list at that age were Had a couple of Tamiya models of it as well
Plus I then went off them as the side strakes went out of style, now I'm jonesing for one again
And of course With (the god damn ugly) slant nose natch, hey, I was 16 remember.
Still had a thing for these then, that soon left and has never returned except as the possibility as an autocrosser in FF form.
Once 17 (the legal driving age in England, can't even get a learners permit until then) the reality of life was Although mine was silver and cost 30GBP (approx $50USD) bought from a junk yard.

I also had a RS at 17.
Our family car, bought new in 71, was Z28 4spd/4.10 in BRG, like the top one. It was going to be mine some day, but somebody pulled out in front of my dad, and totalled it in 74. He bought it back and parted it out. It lived on as a stock car. I would love to have one now, but there's no way I can spend that kind of money on a car.
917K I was a weird kid.
I actually got to sit in this Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood car years back.
