Got a Churchill almost to KV running French and German arty

My transformation is almost complete

BTW up to tier 4 French arty is better than german

what churchill you get?... I bought the tier5 UK one... bought it on sale and then sold it a few weeks later having never played it... I also have the tier5 russian prem which I really enjoy, was my first credit grinding tank, these days it's more for crew training, had many crews go though it.

I bought my first tier10 yesterday :) the obj 140... 6 million creds is a lot... still need to grind out some more so I can load it up with ammo... took me a bit over a year and almost 12k battles to get it... about 80k xp from the batchat (also tier10) also close to buying a few other tier8 tanks... expensive

Indeed, the mk.V 6 pounder is the first so-so gun it gets, and use it to skip the base 75mm and go straight to the 75mm HV.

Yeah I am just now getting into the crew training aspect. Probably to my detriment. I have been traing to 75%/80% across the board and if I sell a tank I don't like I keep the crew and move them up and retrain them.

Once they're past 100% and you start building their "second" skill level the tanks get much better.

once they get to 100% base crew training they can start training "skills"... rule of thumb is heavies get repairs, everything else gets camo for the most part... once you get that first skill to 100% and the 2nd to about 40% you can retrain the commander for 6th sense which tells you you've been spotted about 3 seconds after you're spotted... at upper mid and high tiers the game is really largely about crew skills as that is the only difference between the other tank your fighting (well that and your own player skill)

I LOVE sixth sense.....its a reminder to click off cruise and pay attention.

it is the single most useful skill in the game... (to the new players it has to be 100% to function) playing a scout or med tank without 6th and camo is miserable... between those two I can frequently be the guy pew pew pewing you in the side with you never seeing me while I'm spotting you so I get more xp :)

I use it and intuition religiously on my derp equipped stuff....but that's because when I'm rolling in heavies, the #1 thing I fear is artillery.

lol actually I'm frequently the scout lighting you so the big guns on my team can hit you ...

ELC isn't a scout... it's a TD with great camo ;-)... it's one of my keepers... while i wouldn't say it's "good" it sure is super fun... much more enjoyable than the 12t or the 13 75... side note... i'll have the batchat unlocked in another day or two :)

Since I have done my flip my WN8 ranking is up 48 points

keep at it, learning positioning yourself in locations that let you get dmg while not getting killed... this will lead to you living longer, doing more dmg and winning more battles.

i'm nearing 1700 wn8... almost 2400 recent... nice solid light blue stats with dark blue recents... purple still eludes me

I have a deep and abiding hatred for anyone who uses that awful light tank that zings off a million rounds in two seconds then spends an eternity reloading.
Similar to not using turn signals or having a Tardis sticker on your car, I assume they're annoying and awful people in real life.

Snow being smooth story of the day: spent 90% of a round thinking I was in the ELC and driving accordingly, noticed waaaaay late that I was in fact driving a Locust.

lol I've frequently run one tank so much and then switched it and thought I was still in that tank going to the complete wrong area for what I was playing...

as for the pz1c... super fun tank to play :) i finally sold mine but it was one of my fav tier3 tanks but once I had the locust I sold it... funny thing is the only tank at its own tier that I fear in it is the pz1c as it can clip me out... but once you get to tier4/5 the pz1c isn't scary at all lol.

I bounce between the ELC, Priest, and Locust unless all three are blown up, the pz1c can ruin my day in one volley regardless of what tank I'm in.
Hell, I don't even think I own a medium tank, much less a heavy.

That is one of my best tanks

Once you learn how to play it, it is devastating. It was the only tank I played worth a damn this weekend.

I don't hate it in the sense that it's not effective, it's just too effective against all the tanks I run.
One full mag from that and most of my tanks die.
Dunno, just seems like it punches above its weight, while not giving up as much armor as my beloved ELC?

Outwardly, playing it consists of 'run around until you get to medium range, unload, fall back, retreat'
