The really dumb part was doing it on public streets. The people around you there are completely unpredictable, unlike a racetrack.

I can do nothing but agree with this statement. All I saw was a tach.
On a side note, new anchors always make me cringe when they try to say something funny or cool, and end up just looking like a dork.
