I had to change plates on mine. A friend homes that it wasn't much of a croth rocket, but way more fun than a bottle rocket, so BTL RKT it is. Still great fun, and cheap, cheap, cheap.

I went out today planning to pick up another Miata and somehow ended up with a Grom in the back of my volvo wagon.

Bought my now gone 2000 VFR from a guy in Vinton, did the test ride on the BRP & blasted the ton past the service facility just south of Washington Ave. There was an enforcement vehicle parked there, but I guess they weren't running radar or else they decided I was going too fast as I didn't see it again! I picked up the hardtop for my Answer a few years later in Rocky Mount. Hope to make it back to that area once (if) I retire...lots of nice roads to roam around.

Rode a friends Grom with an exhaust. Top speed with me was 53mph. Between that, the $3k price and the fact that I looked like a Grizzly riding a bicycle at the circus, no thanks.

I only learned of the existence of these two days ago. I want one, badly. Seems like it would be a nice step up from my old Ruckus, which I definitely miss.

Did the valve check both were slightly too tight, that and the oil change took less than a half hour. I will be buying a set of angled feeler gauges though, my straight set was tricky to get into the intake side. Two o rings and a quart of oil, and I'm good for 2000 miles.
