Just got the estimate from the shop, over $4500, I doubt that State Farm will value it at over $4000. So, I now need to either find something else, or maybe it's time to get the WeeStrom back on the road. Anyone know who sells Suzuki parts with reasonable prices? I need at least a wiring harness.
How much is buy back? How wrecked is it?

If the bike is truly squished, so be it. But if it's basically lots of cosmetic damage, you may want to consider taking it back and watch ebay for donor parts.
You might even want to post it up here as a sale.

Awaiting the insurance folk to contact me, so that we can discuss value, and buy back price. More or less every panel was touched, handlebars bent, not sure on the frame. Center stand is certainly bent out of shape, as it won't come down. Hopefully I will know more next week.

I was sore for a few days afterwards. Anyone that has driven to Summit Point Motorsports Park, and has come from the south or west, there is a sharp right just before the track, by a grass airstrip. 20MPH recommended. I slowed more than that since it had rained south of there, and trucks pulling cars tend to cut the corner from the other direction. As I came around the corner, there was standing water fully across my lane, on the right shoulder, and half way across the opposite lane. I tried to come upright, but just wasn't quick enough. Bike was out from under me, it slide across the road to my left, I went straight, and the bottle of Coke in the glovebox came out and went to my right. We all ended up in the mud on the far side of the road (me in a particularily wet spot).
As the bike went across the road, it hit some sort of imperfection, and went from a low side, to it's very own high side. So yeah, panels on both sides messed up. Still rideable, but the center stand is unusable, the handlebars are bent, so your left hand is well centered and above your right hand, and at a different angle. Finding the turn signal after dark was interesting. And no windshield makes me wonder how Harley riders do it.
Joe Gearin got to see it at HyperFest (I was on my way for setup when it happened), it's not as bad as it might sound, but until I see it without the body work, it's hard to say what it might need as far as the frame being tweaked.
State Farm will have an adjuster looking at it in 2-4 days. Yay, it's only a month and 2 days since the accident...

We just cut up and scrapped a burgman frame a few months ago. Look on Eco-Exo builds in the MEV forums, there are people looking to unload parts.
They asked for $1000 as a buy back, and myself, being way too tired after 4 days at VIR in the heat and humidity, simply laughed, shrugged my shoulders and told them too keep it. Frame was tweaked slightly. It still tracked straight, but I just didn't feel right. And $1000 is more than the drivetrains are going for.
Oh, and now my Exocet fund has more in it, which should make Warren (who was also in the VIR heat and humidity) happy :)
Geez, someone has a Burgman 400 on CL nearby with 12k miles for not much more than your buyback price.
