Finally got around to adding two of the three classic bikes to "my garage"

Namely, the R100RS with the 4V conversion:

And what might be the only Moto Morini in the state of Nevada :

That R100RS is relevant to my interests now that I finally finished editing my airhead love post.

Is the front tire mounted incorrectly on the Moto Morini? Seems to me that it would channel water towards the center in the orientation. Might want to check that out, it would be a shame to drop such a great bike!

I've had a few bike tires like that....it's on correctly

Well spotted - the PO had the tire mounted backwards. That's probably going to be the first thing I'll get sorted on this bike...

You'd think the big "Rotation" arrows on the sidewall would have been enough of a clue.

Not so fast on the rotation.

An old trick from decades ago with tires like that was to take a rear tire and mount it backwards on the front. It frequently worked better than the oem spec front tire did.

The focus, as I recall, was braking. In particular, braking while wet.

Digging the Morini. My freind Pete used to dirt track one.
