I actually did my first commute in to work today on the 650r. One word, FOG! Holy shnikes was that bad. I had to stop three times to clear my visor because I couldn't see. I kept wiping it with my gloves and they eventually got soaked. It was crazy. I need to figure out a camera mount so you guys would have an idea of what I was in this morning, because my descriptive skills suck. Just know it was dark and foggy the whole ride in. The fog is supposed to lift and be sunny and mid 70s on the way home. I hope so...
I got to the office and my coworker asked "you rode in today? How did you see anything? I could barely see". He drives a 2012/13 F150 4x4 Supercrew.
On the flip side, I still had a blast, and I was really warm. It was high 40s/low 50s when I left this morning so I put the liner in my jacket just in case. I think I could have done without it, because I was pretty toasty once I got to the office.

I hate riding in fog, but that is mainly because it makes a bike invisible.
Try turning your head side to side to let the wind wick the droplets off, if that doesn't work, rainx your face shield.
I had a visor completely fog over-on the inside at about 5 in the morning. I could barely see out the bottom corners. Then a car comes over the hill with it's lights on. Totally blind. I was scared E36 M3less. Pulled over, wiped the visor down, and took my heart out of my throat.
I remember seeing a neat gadget in a motorcycle supply catalog some time ago (maybe Aerostitch) - it was a little squeegee for cleaning your visor and it had a fabric loop on the back, so you could keep it on your finger where it would always be handy.
If it's the inside that's fogging, up there are products you can put on the visor to help prevent that. If the motorcycle shops don't sell it, you can probably get it from a scuba diving supply.

rainx nofog wipes are awesome for preventing the breath induced fogging up. Appleseed, I would have flipped my visor up long before it clouded up on the inside.
Thanks guys, it is condensation on the outside. Inside was dry. I checked the inside twice on the way in and after I got into the office and it was dry.
Can you put rainX and stuff on the outside of the visor? I thought that messed things up.
Some friends of mine have been known to sew short strips of windshield wiper blades to the backs of their gloves. Quick swipe and you have a clean visor without getting your gloves soaked.

I don't know what happened to make it fog instantaneously, but it did. Somehow I locked the visor. Not good all around.
You can buy gloves with a little wiper blade on the back of the thumb now.
A year or two ago I bought a Scott brand "no fog" cloth that was supposed to keep your visor from fogging up. I opened the package and the intructions said "wipe down visor with cloth. If visor fogs, repeat." Thanks a lot jackass!
