I love it, your results may vary.
I like it better than the typical goldwing....it's a little sportier. I do not like the Pacific Cost...that is one fugly bike.
I dunno...I think this was the best use of the Goldwings 1800cc flat 6.
You know...stock plus 4 more throttle bodies, single side swing arm, tuned exhaust. Just a tad more torque than a stock wing and less weight.
I think something more SPORT-touring and less bagger would be badass on a Goldwing. Even the standard model with the blacked out trim would look pretty neat.
Then again I am lusting after an old 4 cylinder GL, not one of these newfangled two-wheeled cars!
Forget the bagger, forget the Rune, they should just follow the lead of this guy:

I don't think your average Goldwing owner's wife is going to appreciate the smaller backrest and disappearance of those arm rests. Also, am I crazy or is that a really cut-down windscreen?
In reply to pinchvalve: I love it, but SWMBO would not. She wants that big old back rest, and honestly, so do I. My back gets sore when she sleeps leaning against me.

I bought the full Corbin get up for my k1200s, so the wife would ride more, all used of course because their prices are insane. I got the front and rear heated seats, backrest, and in a seperate purchase got another front seat and the smugglers trunk. I think she rode with me a grand total of two times after I got all that stuff, so now I just leave the solo saddle and smuggler on there. Some women just don't appreciate motorcycles lol.
In reply to Cotton:
No, she rode to N GA from Charlottesville, and back. We plan on making the trip again, but likely on the Burgman this time (last was on the WeeStrom). That's a fairly long ride for most, but she soldiered through just fine. She did get upset when I kept up with traffic around Charlotte that was traveling at near 100 MPH on damp roads... She's a keeper, she is.
I love it, but I don't $20,000 and I-still-make-the-payments-the-seven-months-a-year-I-can't-ride-it love it. Looks like something fun to throw SWMBO on for an anniversary away or something, but we just inherited a '07 Harley Heritage to fill that void, and it'll likely never leave the family.
