Title says it all. Right side of a 2003 Ducati Monster 620. Battery tender?
Looks like one to me; I've got a Battery Tender brand and mine are slightly different than that. So look at brands other than that :-)
Yes, looks the same as the one on my 'Guzzi Stelvio.
Mine usually has a "battery tender" brand USB adapter stuffed into it but at the moment, my C-tek battery maintainer is plugged into it.
If in doubt, stick a meter in it.
It's the same as the battery tender plug I have on my Burgman, but why not just follow the wire? It's not like there's a ton of body panels to remove to see.
Every battery tender plug I've seen looks like this:
They aren't equipped with a water-tight seal like the op's picture. The battery tender plug also wouldn't fit into the op's plug.
That picture looks like a watertight accessory plug to me. It might also fit up to a proprietary charger plug.
Not saying it couldn't be used for charging, or even used with some modification with a Battery Tender (R). But I really don't think it's a battery tender/charger plug.
