This is my 88 FZR 400. I love this bike more than any other bike I've owned (03 sv650s burning copper, 90 ex500 with fork brace and lasertecs, 82 xs400, 95 ktm lc4 400)
Why did I strip the plastics and put on dirt bars?
Because I don't road race, I prefer the way the frame and motor looks compared to the plastics, and the dirt bars make the bike more fun to ride, plus I can last on longer rides. (Recently did Portland ME to Northampton MA all on route 202 and did fine)

I like those bikes - bunch of my friends race them.
I would like one of those

I love the FZR 400s, but prefer them with the fairings. I was trolling CL for one the other day.

Yeah, that would be a fun ride. You could hit every single back road between Portland Maine and Nashville. That includes deals gap and skyline drive.

I just road from Dallas to Nashville recently in a day, so it'd have to be better than that. That ride was pretty much straight and flat. How much are you asking for the bike? You can e-mail specifics if you want. cottonyzf at gmail dot com.
