I have a cruiser and want to get a smaller naked bike and was looking around for a Triumph Street Triple when I noticed someone selling a Ducati S2R1000 in my price range. Always liked Ducati Monsters i'm just wondering if this is a bike I should consider? Anyone have any idea how the maintenance would compare?

The maintenance isn't as bad or expensive as most would lead you to believe, Its all about having the right mechanic, or is its a 2 valve its very easy for the DIY'er. I wouldn't let the maint on the Duc scare you off if thats what you really want
Get the one that stirs your soul the most. I don't think either is a bad choice.
I am on my third monster. Two have been H2O and one air cooled. Love the ducati. Hate the triumph head lights.
