'm Selling my xr650 trike, it was fun but I'm ready to start a new project and need to make room This started life out as a nice shape xr650, I used the road legal enduro frame and was turned into a trike, Has a custom built swingger with a mod 85 tecate front end on it. 04-05 Honda 450r Plastics and seat, Extended axle. For the people who think this isn't true or think it can't be done, please don't respond you just don't understand. For those who are interested it is the same process as the Harley/ Honda Goldwing people do then please feel free to call or text. Also these pix where taken early spring right after i pulled it out of my shop for the first time and it was before i had it inspected. the nys inspection sticker is on the front left lower fork tube now.
That looks waaaaay better than I thought it would.
I'm not one of the people who thinks this isn't true or thinks it can't be done, but I am one of the people who thinks it's a really bad idea.
So you made what everyone thought Honda should have made back in the days of 3 wheelers. Given that thing looks like a 350X and I remember how damn scary those were, I must say NO.

Really, you're one of those people, too? 'Cause I'm totally one of those people.
I think there may be people like us across all the walks of life who haven't extincted themselves...

Myself included, I grew up riding on Honda Big Reds. Can't even begin to tell you how many times I was close to death on them.
2 mile long wheelies with 4 kids on one (Utility racks). Flipping over backwards, rolling over in higher speed corners, front wheeling lodging itself into a rut. The list goes on and on.
Saw a RD-350 up on the mountain that somebody triked, never seen it run but it looked wicked.
Y'all are a bunch of pansies. That thing is awesome. The wide rear axle really makes them more stable. And not too likely to get the front wheel wedged in a rut on the street...
You say stable like this thing has it.

Tecate front end? Sounds flimsy:
Or maybe it's more like this, which I can fully support.
That thing is too geographically close to me.
Needs more turbo.

Lol, Cayuga, NY is part of the school district that I teach in. I'm not going to say anything, but the only surprising thing about this build given its location is that it actually appears to be a quality job.
...Oops I just said something.
