I got ready to ride to work this morning and the bike wouldn't start.

Maybe tomorrow.

I couldn't wait. I drove pinky today in the rain. It wasn't supposed to rain, but it is "supposed" to clear in the afternoon.

I rode in this morning in the strongest rain I've been in yet. The good news is everything stayed completely dry, except for my left foot. After today it's supposed to be sunny and 60 with climbing temps the rest of the week.

I rode yesterday, until I blew a fuse that for the accessory circuit, that also has turn signals and brake light.

I've just now started spring cleaning on the 3 here.....I disassembled all the bodywork off the 250r in about 35 minutes yesterday...after it is done with its cleaning/lube/intimate checkover, it gets moved to the garage and the Raptor is next in line, then the 10r. I'll be on the raptor this spring until I get the 10r up to get reflashed and dyno tuned(lets see 170whp)

It's 44F and sunny... spent an hour shoveling the plow blockaide from in front of the garage door... put on my gear and...

berkeleying motorcycle batteries. Do any of them last more than 1 winter? It was on a trickle and the garage is heated. Off to the store I go to fetch another one in my 7000lb truck on a nice sunny day.

WTF E36 M3ty batteries are you buying....mine just stay on a battery tender brand trickle charger and haven't had any issues.

I took the top down in the company car V6, Auto Mustang today. Bike is stuffed behind the R60/5, CL77 CB305 Scrambler, and a Model A. So it'll be bit before it comes out.

The DRZ400 would have come out from it's winter slumber if the threat of rain hadn't been around.

Could have ridden the other day, if I could have gotten it out. The roads were clear, but my yard still has a foot of snow in it, and there's no way of getting the bike out through it. Of course once the snow melts I'll still be stuck, because of the mud.

Same here.

I went out yesterday and dug the giant pile of snow blocking the garage out of the way. Put a new battery in 'er and ran out of time for the riding part. It's drizzling today with a chance of freezing (hovering right at 32F now) so I think I'll take a pass on white-knuckling my 1st ride of spring because tomorrow's forecast is 50F and sunny. WHOOHOO!

EDIT: It's funny, because it seems like a whole "off" season but I rode into January so it's really only been a short break.

Rode to work this morning (carefully) in 30°. supposed to be 60° later.

I logged a 150 miles of just tooling around smelling the air the last two days during lunch and in the afternoon when work was done. This "daylight until 7" thing is sweet.

The weather has been clear but the roads are very dirty with cinder/salt and the frost heaves are still punishing the nutbag quite badly if you don't get them off the seat in time. Suffice to say that riding aggressively is a few weeks away. It does feel good just to be out though.
