Where do you keep your papers?

Gotta have the rego and ins. papers with you at all times, right? No glovebox on a bike, right?

I'm thinking maybe a heavy zipper-lock bag attached inside the tool cover or something.

What do you do?

I've got them in a zip lock bag in the compartment under the seat if the bike is so equipped or in my jacket pocket.

Ziplock under seat/in tool pod/in trunk. Depends on the bike but I always find a place to stash it- I'd definitely manage to lose track of them if they were in a pocket.

Ziplock in the tool roll. Though, FWIW, some states now allow digital documents, meaning you can save them on your phone.

My "documents" are kept in a ziplock under the seat tucked into the battery slot.

I keep them under the seat with my insurance card and an emergency $20. I seem to go riding without my wallet a lot. I have too many jackets to keep in in a pocket.

I have color coded Icon magnetic tank bags......red for the blue Muzzy's and black for the green 10r. I don't carry insurance cards since that info is on our registration.

Tank bags are godsends for sport bikes with steel tanks.

I've only needed DL and insurance card. I saved my insurance to my phone and put my insurance card in my wallet.

Used to keep them in the tool kit. One bike I owned had a clip inside a side cover, don't recall which one. Now on the K-1200, glove box. On the R-90, inside a Zip Lock back, rolled up and clipped inside a tube under the gas tank.

I believe on my state motorcycles aren't required to keep their paperwork on the bike, but I'm not sure about that. I keep the insurance card and registration papers in one of the leg pockets of my riding pants. ATGATT, so I never leave home without them.

I ride like an old person so I've never worried about having to get it out.

Ziplock bag inside my GF's toolkit. My XR doesn't have a spot so I keep that one in my wallet. My Aprilia has a huge tank bag so I keep it in there. I have so many motorcycle jackets I'd have to search them all each time, if I remembered.

Stashbox. It mounts to your license plate holes, then you mount your plate to it. Adds about an inch of thickness, its practically invisible, is rain/splash proof and locks. It holds all of my paperwork, a AAA card, some emergency cash and a credit card.
