I was a hamfisted hack when it comes to opening plastic electrical connectors.  They stood a 50/50 chance of not breaking when I opened them, and were limping along held together with tiny zip ties.  But no more, slip one of these tiny 90 degree picks up underneath the edge of the female connector, probe around a bit in her nether regions and... pop.. slips right off revealing shiny inner bits.

Usually $5 or so:

"Oh bother," said Pooh as he chambered another round.

The small orange ones also work great for opening connectors.

Ahh HF puts me in a trance with all it's doodads.  I joke that my new one is segregated due to all the signs being in English from the front of the store and Spanish from the back but not bilingual in each direction. smiley
