I have found that I can use PVC pipe cement (Oatey, red label is what I used) to reattach plastic tabs and cracks in parts that broken.

It leaves a noticeable glue line, so I would not use this on a trim piece that can be seen.

I have used a cheap soldering iron and cable ties as filler rod to "weld" it from the backside.....

Good to know about the pipe cement.

I haven't tried this, but I watched a YT video where they heated up a piece of metal window screen and pressed/melted it into the back side of the two pieces to splint them together. Still requires some adhesive at the edge.
