2023 FL GRM Holiday get together - Orlando area

I'm in if there are any open spots left for weirdos with slow cars.

Wife just scheduled her foot surgery for the day prior so I'm sadly out. It will also negatively impact my Challenge car building time throughout December.

I guess depending on time frames the CFR one at OCCC could be super convenient.  Being end of year participation seems to be dropping so it could be a early day?

Is this still happening? Like Eric, I’d like to autocross at the Convention Center on December 2. 

And I’m registered for OCCC on December 2. Hang out there and then grab food afterward?

Round up at the autocross, then go hang out together for a meal? Finish up at one of the kart tracks?  
 

I was first in points for the year in E Street until Daytona, and the OCCC event is the last points event of the year. I think I'm too far down to recover first place, but I'd love to go for fun.

I was going to call the Crabby Bill's in St Cloud and see if we can get a table on the deck for 20 or so. I had thought to do 11-2 but we could push to 2-5 if that would be better for the AutoX crowd.

Usually done by two to three at the very latest, but there's 104 entries with 23 novices. Good news is that CFR events are efficiently run, and we don't take breaks or split the event.

I called Crabby Bills and we cannot reserve a table on the deck on weekends. I have tentatively reserved a table inside for 20-25 people for this Saturday 12/2, from 2-5pm.

Please confirm if you are coming and how many people you will have so we have chairs for everyone. Thank you!

Any interest in doing a food donation component again this year? I missed last year's event due to coming down with covid, but the group still collected a good bit of food for those less fortunate which I was able to share with the local food bank. I would be happy to collect the items and bring them home for donation.
